What is note taking?

-writing down ideas from lecture and readings in our own word

Why we need taking note?

·         -Easy to do revision when quiz, test and final exam
·         -Improve our memory
·        - Taking notes helps you concentrate
·        - Helps you to maintain a permanent records of you have read or listened to

                                                                  Why must reviews our notes?

                                                                         -Helps us to memorize




Materials that we need to take note

· -  Loose-leaf paper
·  - Binder
·  - Notebook
·- Stationery-pens, highlight, pencil


Before class what we need to do?

·  -Sit in front of the classroom
· -  Do not try to write down every word of the lecture, instead focus on the main points

How do we takes notes?

·        - Takes note on all questions that are asked by your professor
·        - If the professor draws a graph or drawing a help illustrate a point, copy it.
·       -  Date and title each page of your note




How do we prepare for class?

·  -Reviews syllabus
· -Do pre-reading and homework
·   - Leave space so that you can add information


While taking note?

·       -  Ask questions
·        - Seek out meaning

·         -Alert and focus
·         -Let go of judgments about lecture styles
